I suppose it was only a matter of time before legislators turned their attention to yet another achievement of unfettered ingenuity...VOIP communications. Without the watchful oversight of technologically challenged busybodies, VOIP may just turn into a highly profitable, efficient, customer-pleasing free-for-all...and we just can't have that.

We'll see how long it takes them to start turning the screws here in the US. While it lasts, though, it's still fun to tell the phone companies to take a flying leap.
